Shadow Days for Prospective Students

Shadow Days at St. John the Baptist Catholic School enable prospective 4th-8th grade students to learn first-hand about our family- and faith-focused learning community.
Here’s what a visiting student should know about their Shadow Day:
When are Shadow Days?
Shadow Days are offered every Wednesday. Visiting students attend school at St. John’s from 8:00am until 12:30pm.
How Should a Visiting Student Prepare for the Shadow Day?
Dress in clothes and shoes that are safe for playground play and appropriate for a Catholic school.
Bring a healthy snack for recess.
Do not forget to complete and return the Shadow Day emergency contact form to the school office.   The form can be found here:
What is the Shadow Day Schedule?
8:00 a.m.: Visiting student and his/her family meets at the school office to check in and complete/return the emergency contact form.
8:10 a.m.: Visiting student is introduced to classroom teacher and joins classroom line.
8:20 a.m.: Parents are invited to attend our school Mass with the whole school in the church.
12:00 p.m.: Parents meet with Mrs. Brazil to ask questions and learn more about our program.
12:30 p.m.: Visiting student is delivered to the school office to be picked up by parents.
