Anti-Bullying and Positive Social Skills Program

Anti-Bullying and Positive Social Skills Program:

In 2011, our former principal, Mrs. Jordan, and former teacher, Ms. Di Marco, were invited to present at the National Catholic Education Association convention in New Orleans, LA. The topic was “Forming a Faith-Based, Anti-Bullying, Positive Social-Skills Program: An Effective Model for Catholic Educators”. The presentation captured the multi-faceted manner that we, at St. John's prevent and manage challenging behaviors. We are all imperfect by our humanness. We, as parent/educator partners, have the responsibility to protect all children so that they feel safe. We also have the responsibility to support all students in developing healthy social and self-advocacy skills. Please review the Powerpoint presentation which outlines our multi-leveled, effective program. Should you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.
