First Grade Classroom Curriculum
Math:
Houghton Mifflin, Please see Handout which contains the standards for first grade and the contents of our text book.
Some of our primary goals will be for the students to have a strong grasp of place value and to know their facts to 20.
The text is supplemented by seasonal activities and the daily calendar and number line and the integration of math skills into all subject areas.
