Get ready to Twist & Shout!   -    It's time for the 2010 St. John the Baptist Catholic School Jog-A-Thon.

Students should wear their Jog-A-Thon t-shirt to school on Thursday with P.E. shorts or something similar - sweat pants okay.  Only closed-toed tennis shoes will be allowed on the track.  Please remember to bring sunscreen and hats. Absolutely no food or drink (other than water) will be allowed on the track or in the field.  Students will be bused to Justin-Siena and will run between 10:15 AM and 11:00AM.  Observers at the event are asked to sit in the bleachers.  Only staff, students and volunteers are allowed on the field.  A BBQ lunch will be served to all students compliments of Justin-Siena High School.  Justin-Siena is located at 4026 Maher Street in Napa.  Students will return to St. Johns by 12:15 for a 12:30 dismissal. Please come out and join the fun.  Parking is available in and around the school in lined spaces only.

Jog-A-Thon Kick-off Rally Please join us! The St. John Jog-A-Thon kick-off rally will take place on Friday, September 17 at 2:00 P.M. in the Parish hall. Get ready to Twist & Shout as we celebrate the start to this exciting fundraiser. Pledge envelopes will be handed out to each student so that they may begin collecting pledges. Parents, we need your help too. Several cases of bottled water will be needed for the event on October 7. We are still accepting sponsor donations from businesses, families and/or individuals whose names will appear on the back of our 2010 Jog-a-Thon t-shirt. A donation of $100 will list your name while donations of $250 or higher will have the option of printing a logo on the t-shirt. The deadline for being included on the back of our t-shirt is Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Make your check payable to: St. John the Baptist Catholic School and send to the school office - 983 Napa Street, Napa, CA 94559. The planning is underway for the annual Jog-a-Thon fundraiser. Please check your Wednesday Envelope for important forms, deadlines and information regarding the event. We hope to make this year's event BIGGER and BETTER than ever before but we need your help. This year we challenge our staff members, parents, grandparents, friends and family members to find sponsors and join us on the track. Special prizes will be awarded.
