2011-2012 School Year

Dear Prospective St. John the Baptist Catholic School Family, 

I am pleased that you are interested in St. John the Baptist Catholic School for your child(ren)’s education.    As you may know, St. John the Baptist Catholic School has been educating students since 1912, offering a California standards�]based education in a faith�]filled environment. We are the most diverse school within the Diocese of Santa Rosa and we look forward to serving our next generation of students and their families in our fully–accredited, Kindergarten through 8th Grade educational program.

The admissions entrance process begins with our application packet.  Your application packet/process will consist of:

• Completed application form
• Copies of current report card and standardized test scores for applicants to grades other than  Kindergarten
• A $25 application fee
• A meeting with the Principal
• An academic screening by the classroom teacher                                                                            

Upon submission of required documents, you will be contacted for any needed screenings and meetings. After these steps are completed, you will be notified of your child’s acceptance status. Acceptance of all applicants is based upon our admissions policy located in our handbook on our website. Placement is confirmed as openings develop for each grade level.
