Dear Prospective St. John the Baptist Catholic School Family, 

I am pleased that you are interested in St. John the Baptist Catholic School for your child(ren)’s education.   As you may know, St. John the Baptist Catholic School has been educating students since 1912, offering a California standards-based education in a faith-based environment.  We look forward to serving our next generation of students and their families in our fully–accredited, Kindergarten through 8^th Grade educational program.

The admissions entrance process begins with our application packet.  Your application packet/process will consist of:

• Completed application form (enclosed)
• Copies of current report card and standardized test scores for applicants to grades other than  Kindergarten
• An academic screening by the classroom teacher
• A meeting with the Principal
• A $25 application fee

Upon submission of required documents, my assistant, Stephanie Saunders, will arrange any needed screenings and meetings. Acceptance of all applicants is based upon our admissions policy. After these steps are completed, you will be notified of your child’s acceptance status by Mrs. Saunders.  Placement is confirmed as openings develop for each grade level.
