Winter/Spring, 2008

Dear Parents/Guardians,         

I am pleased that you are interested in St. John the Baptist Catholic School for your child(ren)’s education.

At St. John the Baptist Catholic School, we offer a California content standards-based education in a faith-based environment.  I know by experience, choosing a school can be a stressful, yet exciting time.  It is a long-term commitment and choice that must be matched to your entire family.

We have begun the registration process for the 2008/09 school year.  The entrance procedure begins with our application packet.  Your application packet/process will consist of:

• Completed application form
• Copies of current report card and standardized test scores for applicants to grades other than  Kindergarten
• A meeting with the Principal
• An academic screening
• A $25 application fee

Upon submission of required documents, my assistant, Stephanie Saunders, will arrange any needed screenings and meetings. Acceptance of all applicants is based upon our admissions policy. After these steps are completed, you will be notified of your child’s acceptance status by Mrs. Saunders.
