Napa Valley Register Feb 02, 2010 A nearly mile-long human chain of school children shuttled cans of SpaghettiO’s, pinto beans and other canned goods Monday. and the spectacle stopped some puzzled passersby in their tracks.

Napa Valley Regsiter Jan 16, 2010 | After raising more than $200, St. John the Baptist Catholic School kindergartners visited Kohl’s to shop for gifts to donate to the St. John’s church Love Trees project. “The kids really got excited making sure that they chose just the right gift,” Paulette Boyce, kindergarten teacher.

We are blessed to live in Napa. The valley’s beauty and natural resources are matched by a caring business community that donates in record numbers, teaching our children the value of giving back. Also impressive is the personal commitment and participation of individuals who give their time and support to people and causes beyond themselves. On April 25, St. John the Baptist Catholic School celebrated its seventh annual One Heart at a Time Gala.
