Math - Mrs. HamToday in class, we talked about equality. We looked at what this might mean algebraically but we also looked at it in a more visual sense. Tonight, the students are to come up with their own. Start out by making a key for 3-4 figures. Students could use sphere, cone, cube, cylinder, or any other figure (star, moon, ect) The key should me algebraic equations, for example: 1cube=2 cylinders. Next the students will draw two balanced scales that show equality and one that is not balanced. Students will bring this assignment to class tomorrow for a friend to solve. Please make your key on a separate page so that you friend won’t know the answer!
Social Studies - Worksheet Chapter 1-3. Test scheduled for Friday.
