Homework September 2, 2010

Good afternoon,  I hope that  you have been able to keep cool.  I don't think the children need to bring sweaters again tomorrow.  Please plan to leave them at home.

We will have a spelling test tomorrow.  There will be the usual 20 words, and I will add 5 more, possibly  from last year's book..  i wil also  have a Bonus word...a word they have been exposed to during this past week.

We studied the concept of thousands today.  The children have p 5 from their math workbook to do for homework.

In Social Studies we studied map reading.  Page 4 of the Social Studies workbook has been assigned as homework. 

Here is the Write On topic for the next week:   MONSTER DIARY   Create an imaginary monster diary entry.  .  This is due tomorrow, otherwise it becomes Homework for the weekend..

Scholastic Lucky book order is due by Wednesday, Sept  8, 2010.
