Homework August 27, 2010

Good afternoon, Happy Friday!  We have had our first full week of school...and it was full in many ways!

The students will have some writing to do this weekend.  I will try to get on a schedule in which they will have a Thursday evening. to do their writing, but please bear with me until this happens.

The Write On topic for this week is    THE MISUNDERSTOOD TARANTULA.    Write as if you were a tarantula in a classroom aquarium.    Tell about your life and what you think the kids think about you.  I would expect the children to write 4 or 5 sentences on this topic.  Try to be creative.  Use some expressive words.  This will be due on Monday,   August 30, 2010.

Also read for enjoyment this weekend.  I haven't  forgotten about   doing a book report on a book read this summer.
