Homework August 25, 2010

Good afternooon.  

Thank you to all who were able to attend Back to School night last evening.  We had a great turnout despite the record heat.  It's nice to realize that four months from today is Christmas.  At least the weather should be somewhat cooler. then..  I'm visualizing SNOW for Wisconsin!

We did a page in Math today..  Most people finished P 1 of the workbook in school... If it was not completed in school is should have gone home for completion.

Here is last night's Social Studies  which will be due on Friday.  Answer these questions.  Where was Mom born?  Where was Dad born?  Where were Mom's parents and grandparents born?  Where were Dad's parents and grandparents born/    Who came to the United States ? when?  Why did they come to the United States?

I'm going to give a short quiz on second grade spelling words on Friday.  Spelling is a skill we use throughout  our life.
