Homework August 23, 2010

Good afternooon,

We have completed our first day back to school.  Things went smoothly. 

We did our  first writing for the newspaper.  The topic is  DO YOU HAVE A PIGGY BANK?  I will correct it ASAP to get it back for a good writing  which is due at the newspaper this Friday.  Each week we will write ; sometimes at home and sometimes at school.

Tomorrow we have PE class.  Please be sure that your child is wearing sturdy shoes.  Sometimes they have class in the gym and sometimes on the playground.  Our other PE day is on Friday.

For homework this evening, I asked the students to review addition and subtraction facts.  We will do an inventory of the facts tomorrow.  They are also to read for 20 minutes this evening.
