Homework August 20, 2010

Good afternoon, incoming Third Grade students and parents!

I hope that you have had a great summer!.  The twelve days I spent in Germany and Switerland  were  absolutely fantastic, and I'm sure the students will hear about it  from time to time.

Monday marks the beginning of school, and the beginning of the rest of your lives.  Think about that statement.; It is one to ponder. 

Come bright eyed and ready to learn!    Don't forget your baby picture which you were to find during the summer.  Hope that you read LOTS  books.  I'll be anxious to see your certificate from the library.  If you have any extra BIG BROWN GROCERY BAGS, I'd be happy to have them in order to cover your hard covered text books.  You were also asked to look for pinecones during the summer.  Please leave them  at  home for they are for a project in December.  We have some ground to cover before December.

A reminder that Monday is a mimimun day.    School starts at 8;10 with our assembly,  Pleasse be on time . You will be dismissed at 12:30 on Monday.    Tuesday is back to school for parents.  Hope that you have that evening set aside.
