Homework March 3, 2010

Good afternoon,  We had a beautiful prayerful Mass this morning.  The children are so sincere and reverent  as we share in the various parts of the Eucharistic celebration.    One parent put it so beautifully when she said that everything is so seamless. All went so smoothly.. Thank you to all who were able to make it..  Your children are the best!

Today we learned the properties of division.  This has to do with the function of the zero and the one in diividing.  We have P 97 for homework tonight.  Don't forget quick reviews of the X's tables.

The new Write On  is entitled   SPORTS REPORT    What is your favorite sport or exercise?  Write a paragraph describing it and why you like it.    We are practically to the last tri-mester of 3rd grade.   At this point I shall expect the students to be writing at least a  five sentence paragraph. 

Friday is our trip to the Lawrence Hall of Science.  The children need to bring their lunch in a sack , preferably in a plastic sack/bag with their name clearly labeled on it.  They do not need any money as we will not be going to the gift shop, so please do not send money with them.
