Summer Book Report for Mrs. Picard
Due August 25, 2009
Setting: Write at least one paragraph on the setting of the book.
Characters: Describe the characters physically and describe their personalities.
Summary: Write a one page summary, in your own words. See Rubric “Research Part 2.”
Theme: Choose one theme that runs throughout the story. Describe what the theme is and how the author described the theme. What situations in the book led you to believe that this was an important theme?
Poster: Create a poster (no larger than 20’x30’) of an important scene in your book and you will present to the class.
