Mrs. Picard is a Northern California native. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University Sacramento and her K-12 Multiple Subjects Credential from Chapman University. Mrs. Picard joined St. John the Baptist Catholic School in 2003 and taught Kindergarten for one year. The 2009-2010 academic year will be Mrs. Picard’s fifth year teaching 7th and 8th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies classes.
One of the highlights of Seventh Grade is the environmental science camp at Marin Headlands spearheaded by Mrs. Picard. In addition, Mrs. Picard leads St. John the Baptist Junior High students in the annual Justin-Siena Speech contest and assists coaching Kindergarten through Eighth Grade students in preparation for Track and Field Day each spring. Mrs. Picard lives in Napa with her family and has two children attending St. John the Baptist Catholic School. Her hobbies include jogging, golf and hiking with her family.
