Welcome to the T/K and Kindergarten Webpage!

About Jen Machado:
Jen Machado is very excited to join our team as our TK/Kindergarten teacher. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago as well as Art Studies accreditations from the Art Institute of Chicago. She has previously worked as a T/K Teacher, a Kindergarten Assistant, taught Religious Education and Art classes, and has provided private Math Tutoring. Prior to starting her family, she worked in the corporate world in Chicago. She has traveled extensively throughout the globe. She is married and has 4 boys, 3 of  them currently attend St. John the Baptist: Aidan (7th), Finn (6th), and Beckett (K). Her oldest son Connor graduated from St.John's last year and is currently a Freshman at Justin-Siena.  Before moving to Napa from Chicago in 2014, she homeschooled her boys for 1 year and, in doing so, drove across the country with them several times to offer an experiential out-of-the-classroom education. She is currently on The Student Council Committee, Yearbook Committee and Social Committee.

*PLEASE LABEL ANY MONEY COMING IN - We are currently collecting $$ for several things and not knowing what is going towards what can be challenging.  Sending it through a labeled envelope would be best.

I have decided to start putting the pictures I take into online Photo Albums.  I am not sure wether or not you will get a notification when I create a new album. To view the albums go to my home page and under my picture you will see the word 'Photo Album' - click on there and then you will see a list of albums, click on the one you wish to view.  As I am typing this there is currently only 1 album -"London Bridge is Falling Down"  Today started our Nursery Rhymes unit and learned the song London Bridge, we made a long bridge holding up our hands and everyone got a turn to run underneath then we built bridges using Legos.
