Mrs. Calforda

I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.:

I went to Catholic School just like you! I attended Catholic schools for both Elementary and High School; and then I earned my B.S. in Human Development and Psychology at the University of California, in Davis.

Currently I am living in Napa with my husband, Tom Calforda, and one of our three children and our golden retriever, Stella. All three of my children are alumni of St. John the Baptist Catholic School! My oldest, John, is a recent graduate from UCSB. (One down, two to go!) Henry, his younger brother, is a Junior at Drexel University in Philadelphia, and Belle is a Freshman at UCLA.

We all love enjoying just about any outdoor activity! Maybe you will see me paddling on the Napa River with Mr. Calforda and Stella! Be sure to give us a holler and a wave!

Thank you for all of the beautiful flowers and the sweet cards!!!  I love my students!!! And their families!!!

The third grade just finished up our three lessons for "The Circle Of Grace".  We learned that each of us is is a precious gift from God and that we all have a "Circle of Grace" given to us by God and that it is watched over by the Holy Spirit.  Please be sure to talk with your child about what they learned.  They are also to come up with a "signal" they could use with their family if they were in an awkward situation and needed help. Please put an "x" next to your signature in their planner to signify that you have a  plan.  Thanks!!!

Earth Day Art

3rd grade needs to bring in a egg carton for art...the "cardboard" kind!
Also, look around home for any SMALL "junk" that could be glued onto a centipede like critter.

We cannot create our 15-16 budget until we have an idea of class sizes so it is extremely important for you to either return your registration or contact us with any questions as soon as possible.
